Breast Lift
Breast lift is a plastic surgery operation performed to give the breasts their best shape.
The breasts may sag due to various reasons. The breasts may sag due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, excessive weight gain and loss. This problem will be removed with breast lift.
The women who have nipples that point downwards tend to be ideal patients for breast lift.
How Breast Lift Works?
The sagging of the breasts and their current condition will be evaluated with a physical examination. The surgical technique will be decided as a result of this examination.
Breast lift takes 2 hours and is performed under general anesthesia.
If there is any need for breast augmentation, the desired size will be achieved by using silicone implants during the operation.
The surgery will be performed with a surgical technique similar to breast reduction. The breast tissue under the skin is raised to the required position with the incision and the breasts are reshaped. The surgery ends when the sutures are placed.
If the areola is too large, it will be reduced, and excess skin will be removed.
Points to Consider Before and After the Surgery
You need to stop smoking at least 15 days before the surgery, in order to ensure that wounds heal fast. If you have any prescribed medicine that you have to take, please inform the doctor before the surgery.
Sudden weight loss after surgery can adversely affect breast shape. If you have decided to lose weight, you should go on a diet before the surgery.
We recommended that you stay in the hospital for one night after the operation. You have to avoid any excessive exercises for 1 to 2 months.
